Well worth mentioning – the new First Class service on East Coast rail. We travelled south with East Coast (www.eastcoast.co.uk)and enjoyed a complimentary cooked breakfast served at the seat,juice,croissants, toast,endless freshly brewed coffee-and we arrived on time too! The return journey provided a complimentary drinks service followed by a super lunch. I chose Caesers Salad which was freshly prepared and washed down with a good sized glass of decent white wine. Quite fabulous and a real treat! Not a bad start to a working day……………………..
